Gabriel, a 16 year old student travels to Manchester on exchange and meets a fellow Icelander, the stylish and enigmatic Markus whom he’ll room with. Markus’s wild hedonistic ways influence the studious Gabriel into nights of wild abandon but an unexpected kiss leads to a whole new set of feelings Gabriel isn’t yet ready to face. Faced with these new jitters, Gabriel returns to Iceland and his controlling mother and his group of lively and entertaining friends.
