Rise Against Homophobia: Youth Short Video Contest 2013

The Out in Schools Rural Outreach Initiative continues to grow and reach youth in smaller communities outside of Metro Vancouver. This past year they presented to students in the Fraser Valley, the Kootenays, the Cariboo, and across Vancouver Island.  Now its Kingston’s turn to get involved in this exciting project!

Out in Schools presents the 2013 Rise Against Homophobia youth short video contest, inviting youth from across Canada to produce public service announcement videos that speak out against homophobia and bullying.

Youth across Canada, aged 12 – 19, are being called to action and create a 30 – 60 second public service announcement video that challenges homophobia and bullying, while promoting safer and diverse communities!

Use your digital camera, smart phone or any other device to create your message and submit it to us before June 3, 2013.

First Prize $2500

Finalists Receive $1000
