The hottest movie heating up the festival circuit around the world makes its debut here at reelout. Fariba is a young Iranian woman unveiled as a lesbian and torn from her lover. Hoping for asylum, she escapes to Germany. When Fariba’s application is rejected because she cannot prove her life is in danger and all seems lost… a chance encounter allows her a chance to survive by posing as a man. A new job awaits Fariba in a factory where she meets Anne, a kind hearted woman exhausted by the harassment from her male coworkers. Can Fariba’s ruse last when the friendship with an unsuspecting Anne begins to blossom into romance? This is a courageous story about the confines of gender and the power to move on.
