CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

What pulses beneath the surface?

Artery is opening its walls for the first time this Pride—inviting LGBTQ2S+ artists to submit work that engages with identity, representation, intimacy, resistance, lineage, or liberation. We’re interested in work that doesn’t try to explain itself.

We are accepting submissions in any medium—painting, sculpture, textile, performance, photography, video, or digital—but selection will be intentional. We’re curating a show that breathes as one body. Works will be chosen not just on strength alone, but on how they resonate in context with other artworks selected for the show.

This call is open to LGBTQ2S+ artists. We welcome expressions across these identities and experiences, and especially encourage submissions from trans, racialised, and disabled artists.

Submissions due: May 23, 2025
Exhibition opening night: June 17, 2025

There is no artist fee at this time. However, Artery retains a 25% commission on the sale of artists’ works within the exhibition to support exhibition costs and future programming.
