Join us for a Garden Party Fundraiser Sun Oct 14, 2018
The Queen’s University Dept of Gender Studies is graciously hosting a fundraiser for us on Sunday, October 14th, 2018 from 2pm-4pm in the backyard of a private home in the downtown core. Click on the link to the event to see the address.
We’re queering up traditional garden parties on Sunday October 14th from 2-4pm. This is a private home in the downtown area. All ages, genders and sexualities are welcomed. Unlike many events catering to the LGBTQ+ communities this is a daytime event focused on conversation over tea and finger foods where you can connect with new friends and reconnect with old ones. This is an all-ages event. No alcohol will be provided but you may BYOB. Admission is by donation $10-$20 per person. This is a fundraiser for the Reelout Arts Project co-presented by Queen’s University’s Department of Gender Studies. Food and refreshments provided. This is a COSTUME party so we kindly ask that you wear a hat (of any sort). This could be a fancifier, ball cap, bonnet, beanie, cowboy hat, dew rag, riding helmet, biker cap, you name it! Prizes for best hat!
