Get ready for a weekend jam packed with spectacular movies and programs. We are kicking off the 22nd Annual ReelOut Queer Film Festival with a full line-up of programs beginning Friday January 29th! From full length feature films including Dramarama, Death Drop Gorgeous, and No Ordinary Man as well as our short film series like Girls on Girls, and Alphabet Soup: International Short Programs there is something for everyone to enjoy this weekend.
The Festival Line-Up for this Weekend Includes:
On Friday January 29th, join us starting at 7pm EST for the Three Things Consulting Opening Selection: Dramarama alongside the animated short film The Fabric of You!
On Saturday January 30th, our festival has 4 spectacular programs for you to enjoy. Beginning at 12:00 pm EST the feature length movie Cured will be available alongside the short film Nova. This will be followed by Girls on Girls: Short Programs beginning at 2 pm EST. This is a package comprised of 11 different films celebrating women (cis/trans/gender non-conforming) and the relationships that exist with each other both platonic and (A)romantic. This program is sponsored by the Queen’s University Department of Gender Studies. At 7pm EST we have screens of Ahead of the Curve, Girls Shouldn’t Walk Alone At Night, and Peach Scarf. There will be a comfy casual post-screening Zoom chat proceeding this shorts program at 9:30pm EST. Our final program for Saturday is Death Drop Gorgeous beginning at 9pm EST
Finally, on Sunday January 31st we have a line-up of 3 exciting programs. Beginning at 12 pm EST, we have the spectacular featured film Under the Skin (Sous La Peau) sponsored by the Centre Culturel Frontenac. Next, join us starting at 2pm EST for the No Ordinary Man, sponsored by the Skeleton Park Arts Festival. Wrapping up our Sunday programming at 4pm EST is Alphabet Soup: International Shorts Program which includes 11 international short films.
